Southern California Golf Association

The Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) is dedicated to providing its Members, and all golfers, with the best possible golf experience. Practice Facility

Whittier Narrows’ practice facility provides the perfect setting for brushing up your skills in a controlled and focused environment before (or after) you head out to the course. Tune your swing at our 33-stall driving range, or practice chipping and putting on our short game practice greens. We’re conveniently open until 9:00 p.m., and our facilities are night-lit to accommodate after-work and late-night practice sessions.

Individual and Group Instruction

We offer instruction for men, women, and juniors of all abilities, taught by our seasoned teaching professionals. From golf fundamentals and shot selection to on-course instruction and development, we will customize a curriculum tailored to your individual needs. We offer both group and private lessons. Whittier Narrows features well-maintained practice facilities including a night-lit driving range, a putting green, and a chipping area, giving you multiple ways to enhance your short and long game. Although we do not provide practice bunkers, our comprehensive setup supports effective drills and warm-up routines before your round.

Our practice areas make it convenient to refine your technique at your own pace, whether during twilight hours or weekends, helping you develop consistency and precision.

Whittier Narrows Golf Clubs & Community

Our vibrant golf community includes active Men’s and Women’s clubs that foster friendly competition and camaraderie, with convenient online resources to connect members. Though there isn’t a seniors’ club or tennis and pickleball facilities, there are ample opportunities for tournaments, corporate outings, and social play.

If you are interested in organizing leagues, groups, or community events, our staff is happy to assist in facilitating those connections and experiences.

At Whittier Narrows, the clubhouse café offers a comfortable spot to enjoy refreshments and socialize before or after your rounds or lessons.
